Towanna is a deeply experienced C-Suite executive with a robust career that spans over 20 years in human resources, labor relations, talent management, and leadership development with fast-paced, global blue-chip companies such as General Motors and Boeing.

Her most recent role was as the CHRO of the private equity firm Trulite Glass & Aluminum, backed by Sun Capital Partners.

Towanna is a strategic and change agile leader with extensive experience maximizing organizations’ investment in human capital and is highly accomplished in delivering on the HR value proposition. Her charismatic personality coupled with her vast work experience allows her to make genuine connections at every level of the organization. She has lived and worked in both the US as well as Europe while excelling in diverse roles that included all aspects of human resources with a focus on managing culture and sustaining change. This skillset especially came into play in her role as the HR Site leader for Boeing’s massive 787 project based in South Carolina. Additionally, as the Senior Director of Leadership Development, she led the curriculum design and delivery of Boeing’s “state of the art” Leadership Center in St. Louis, MO.

Towanna earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and Master of Human Resources from the University of South Carolina. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Global Leadership Studies at Indiana Tech.
